New Life Providence Church aims to be “the smallest large church in town” by providing small groups for all its members, where friendships can be fostered and members have opportunities to both give and receive ministry. Those who want to know more about the church are encouraged to attend a weekend Discovery Seminar that gives and overview of the history, vision, programs, and governance of the ministry.

New Life Providence Church is a member of New Life Ministries International, a network of Spirit-filled churches, and is overseen by a board of elders.

Pastor Dan Backens is the founding senior pastor of New Life Providence. He holds a Master’s degree in Theology from Regent University. He is married to Rhonda and together they have three adult children and two grandchildren.
